College Grove Nursery is one of the longest established nurseries in Wakefield having been open since 1994.
The current owner and manager Marie Harrison, took over the thriving business in 2006 and has continued to grow and build the nursery. Marie, has supported The Samantha Sykes Foundation from its inception in 2014, she indeed a passionate supporter. Marie has run many events over the years’, raising funds for our young people. Her tireless work is an inspiration to us all. The staff and team at College Grove Nursery also need our thanks and recognition s with Marie’s encouragement they too regularly support us.
Vivienne Varley and the team at Barnett Waddingham have run events and made very generous donations that have directly helped children and young people in the Yorkshire area. Barnett Waddingham support many great causes in Yorkshire from Hospices’ to Schools and their legendary coffee mornings are always a success. Having visited and spoken to the Team, it is obvious that they hold great values. We ae extremely grateful for their continued support.
Hawks Chemical Company Ltd is a specialist trading and distribution company offering sourcing expertise and distribution of fine and speciality chemicals. Their customer base includes the Pharmaceutical, Agrochemical, Speciality Chemicals and Personal Care Sectors. Our relationships with principals, suppliers and producers are long standing and secure.
Reg Warren – Director of Hawks Chemicals has supported the charity financially over the last few years, the outstanding and generous donations made by Reg have helped in the region of 20 young people, his generosity has helped these young people gain access to further and higher education, this would not have been possible without his support. Reg & partner Vivienne have also supported us in some of the events we have run, we are truly proud and honoured to have them to have them on board.
Puma are renowned for supporting community projects and for their values around equality and non-discrimination. They also understand the value of education and it is because of these values, that they chose to support our charity. The team at Grange Road in Batley have also supported us with coffee mornings and even a Dragon Boat event. From a corporate
perspective, Puma have on 3 occasions provided the charity with a private Box at Premier League Newcastle United FC, the box has been auctioned at our annual Butterfly Ball and raised thousands of pounds to help young people in our local communities. Puma are a household name both in the UK and Globally and we are so pleased to be one of the many charities they support.

Delivered Social “Head Honcho” Jonathan Bird has values and beliefs
second to none. Johnathan and his Team built this website, help us to manage it and support us with Social Media free of charge. When we met with Johnathan we realised that he too had experienced tragedy in his life and had lost a son John Ian Bird to still birth.
